"Success for All"

Duke of Edinburgh Award

There are plenty of opportunities for you to complete your award, especially now restrictions are easing. Why not learn to cook, help out an elderly neighbour or complete the couch to 5km challenge? Here is a list of a few ideas of what you could do for each section:

What you need to do next:

  • Decide what you’re going to do for each section

  • Log in to eDofE and enter your personal details (like address and email etc)

  • For each section, you need to state what you’re going to do, what your goals are and how long you’re going to do it for. Fill in all of the sections with a * next to it.

  • Once you have done this, I will read your proposal and approve it if it’s all okay. You may then start your activity.

  • Remember to record evidence as you go along (such as pictures and activity logs) and upload it to eDofE. (you will not need an assessors report until you have complete the section).

Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions

I am pleased to confirm that the 2021 DofE expeditions are going ahead as planned, with some small adjustments. Please view the documents provided for more information. Just a reminder that there is a virtual introductory meeting for students and parents on Thursday 1st April 2021. Robin from Somerset Adventures will be leading the meeting and will be discussing the expeditions. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. Further details and invites to this meeting will be sent out nearer the time.
