Well-being Advice

Welcome to the commitment, challenge, and collaboration that is Honiton Community College. I trust our partnership will be a long and successful one.

Every one at Honiton Community College believes in themselves and their potential to succeed because they are empowered to develop their own solutions and shape their own futures.

The College provides a caring and supportive environment for each individual. We have high expectations and it is our aim that each child will achieve his or her full potential, both academically and socially.

Year 7 Transition Information

We are really looking forward to meeting your son or daughter – face to face - for the first time. The link below is to a short presentation to replace the Year 6 Parent’s Evening that we would ordinarily have. Importantly, it contains details of the first two days of school in September, the 7th and 8th.

Varied, stimulating, challenging & purposeful

We are proud of our success and look forward to you being part of this as you embark on the next phase of your education. Whichever subjects you study, everyone is treated as an individual with a valuable contribution to make. Being part of Sixth Form is an exciting time as you pursue your new courses that will lead to a university place, apprenticeship or employment and with our dedicated and skilled team we will ensure you are well equipped with all of the skills and capabilities you require to have a successful future.

Our Results

In summer 2019 our students achieved outstanding results for the 3rd year running. A great achievement for a non-selective Sixth Form and clearly shows our provision is excellent. In recent years the Department for Education performance measures have placed us in the top 10% of Post-16 providers for BTEC Level 3 courses and the top 25% for A-level.
